Deputy Director for Programme (36 months)

You will be a member of the Senior Management Team of the Kandersteg International Scout Centre. As Deputy Director (also called Programme Director) you are directly responsible for the management of the Programme Department and assist with executing the strategic development goals of the Centre, in both the short and long term, as set out by the KISC General Assembly and KISC Association Committee. The post requires a willingness to work according to a flexible schedule.

House Manager (12 months)

You are responsible for the image of the Centre in terms of cleanliness, appearance and order of the indoor and outdoor facilities. This includes taking care of the different laundries, assisting with and co-organising of special events and the full responsibility for the House budget. The post of House Manager is for a period of 12 months and can be renewed.

Catering Assistant (9 months)

You are responsible for assisting the Caterer with all the aspects of the catering operation as agreed and in low seasons you are also responsible for the buffet and the serving of meals. The post of Catering Assistant is for a period of 9 months.

Administration Assistant (12 months)

You are responsible for assisting the Management Team, and especially the Director, with all aspects of the administration of the Centre and Association, particularly relating to finances, suppliers and relations with local, cantonal and national authorities. Also responsible for the Shop when there is no specific Shop Manager (7 months per year). For this position you need to speak fluent German and preferably be familiar with Swiss systems of administration and finance. The post of Administration Assistant is for a period of 12 months and can be renewed. For this job you do NOT need to have been Short Term Staff.
